BELL DIONNE CO. was created by a mother of 3 children who has a hair loss condition called Traction Alopecia, Traction Alopecia is caused by hairstyles that produce continuous pulling force on the hair root which then causes damage to the hair follicle and stops the hair from growing back. Growing up I was a very well groomed child , my mother kept my hair done in braids every two weeks however,  the long term damage of that traction caused my edges to begin falling out when I was 13 and from that point on it only got worst. Among this journey of having this condition The name BELL DIONNE CO. Comes from my late aunt Dionne Bell who was also one of my favorite people and hair stylist growing up. My Aunt Dee Dee as I would call her passed away from Cancer in 2009 however during her fighting stage she wore wigs when her hair fell out from Chemo. Over the years I have witnessed many people close to me suffer from hair loss due to Alopecia, Chemotherapy, Trichotillomania and more which inspired me to become a Cranial Prosthesis Specialist an Owner/ Ceo of BELL DIONNE CO. My mission is to provide access to great quality wigs an medical wigs for those who suffer from hair loss or those who simply just want to look beautiful wearing a wig.
